The Ultra-Modern Sales Centre facility is set to improve training and customer service, says Managing Director

Geminia Life Insurance has today opened an ultra-modern Sales Centre at the head office in Geminia Insurance Plaza, Upper Hill, Nairobi as the insurer seeks to boost training effort and reach more customers.
Speaking during the launch, Geminia Life Insurance board chairman Mr. David Maina intimated that the new Centre is a product of the company’s Strategic Plan 2022-2024 that identifies growth and training of the distribution force as a key ingredient for achieving sustainable and profitable growth.
“The board of directors is interested in the agents’ holistic growth, not just in terms of volume and variety of business but also as a person. The board is keen on transformation at both individual and company levels, that has always been the story of Geminia Life insurance.”
The Sales Centre boasts of training rooms, offices, customer meeting rooms and a lactation room among other amenities. The launch was attended by the vice chairperson of the board Ms Alfrida Boinett, representatives of staff and agents.
“Our Strategic Plan envisions growth of the contribution of the agency force to overall business production from 11% in 2022 to 25% in 2024. Customers are also saying that they still want to talk to someone about their long-term insurance plans. This Sales Centre is a tool to make sure that these goals are achieved,” added Dr. Gichuru, the Managing Director.
Geminia Life insurance has grown significantly over time from a small player with assets of about Kes 150 million in 2008 to over 3.5 Billion at the close of 2022.
